Israel Hezbollah and IRGC secretly negotiate to solve mutual MIA mysteries

Ron Arad, and Israeli Air Force navigator bailed out of his burning aircraft over Lebanon in October 1986, and has been missing since then. Losing an airman in hostile territory, to Hezbollah, was a tremendous blow.

The search for Arad, not surprisingly, was massive, the largest rescue operation in Israeli history, with some Mossad hands saying it was “the biggest search operation ever conducted in modern history for a single person.”

It all came to nothing.

The efforts to find him have recently been renewed, this time, surprisingly, by means of secret cooperation between Israel, Hezbollah, and the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps, who are also interested in solving cases of their own MIAs:,7340,L-4851091,00.html
