While ISIS is perceived as the main threat to peace in the Middle East, if not the world, Hezbollah is still seen as the primary adversary to Israel.
An up-to-date picture of that organization reveals two parallel, and to a certain extent contradictory, phenomena. One is a dramatic change in its attitude toward the West, including the US, and an attempt to present an identity of interests in the war against Sunni extremism, and the other is an unprecedented weapons build-up and preparation for the next big clash with Israel.
